Established in 2003, Golden Key Piano School has won ten Best of Berkeley awards in Music Lessons since 2008.
For the seventh consecutive year, I am pleased to announce that Golden Key Piano School has been selected for the 2019 Best of Berkeley Awards in the Music Instruction category by the Berkeley Award Program committee.
Skillfully serving Berkeley and the surrounding regions since 2003, Golden Key Piano School provides experienced, comprehensive piano lessons in a variety of styles including improvisation, composition, music theory harmony, history, and much more. Their distinguished musical academy maintains a family-like atmosphere for up to 150 students, and their organization is the proud recipient of 6 consecutive Best of Berkeley awards in Music Lessons since 2008. They teach an impressive Russian method called Artobolevskaya and they place a strong focus on student involvement and practice, encouraging their clients to maintain their skills at home and motivating them to challenge themselves in competitions and piano exams.

For the fifth consecutive year, Golden Key Piano School has been selected for the 2012 Best of Berkeley Awards in the Music Instruction category by the Berkeley Award Program committee.
For the forth consecutive year, Golden Key Piano School has been selected for the 2011 Best of Berkeley Awards in the Music Instruction category by the Berkeley Award Program committee.
For the third consecutive year, I am pleased to announce that Golden Key Piano School has been selected for the 2010 Best of Berkeley Award in the Music Lessons category by the US Local Business Association (USLBA).
Nationwide, only 1 in 120 (less than 1%) 2010 Award recipients qualified as Three-Time Award Winners. I’m sure that your selection as a 2010 Award Winner is a reflection of the hard work of not only yourself, but of many people that have supported your business and contributed to the subsequent success of your organization. U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., December 15, 2008 — Golden Key Piano School has been selected for the 2008 Best of Berkeley Award in the Music Lessons category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
The USLBA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.
