Dear Golden Key Piano School Community,
We hope your spring treated you well and as we gear up to the end of spring and start to see summer in the horizon, we would love to share our tirade of news for the month.
1. Solo Rehearsal Registration
We are looking forward to our Annual Solo Recital on Sunday May 19th at the beautiful Hillside Club at 2286 Cedar St, Berkeley.
One formal rehearsal is required. To register for the recital, you need to sign up on the rehearsal list here. Please find a suitable time for you and put the student’s name so we can have proper scheduling.
By registering for the rehearsal, you are automatically registered for the recital.
The recital is divided into three groups and each group is about an hour long. The first group starts at 11am. We will know the exact time for the other two groups after we time everyone on the rehearsals.
Recital times will be announced HERE after all the recitals are complete.
Please make time to stay for the entire hour of the group you are in to provide morale for all students and reduce movement out of the hall. No one wants to perform to a half empty hall. Please support the fellow students by staying for the full hour.
We look forward to seeing you on stage.
2. Calendar Reminder
Please note that the school will be closed from May 26th to June 1st for spring break. For those classes fall on these dates, your lessons balance out as there were 5 weeks in May/June hence you don’t need makeup classes.
Here is the school calendar for reference in case you need it for future reference.
